Reviews and Ratings
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The rooms were cozy, with a comfy bed and an impressive library. I loved chilling out on the balcony with all the windows open. The reception desk service was a bit rude, but the room service and housekeeping were excellent. The location was perfect, right in the center of town with easy access to many wineries. The dining experience, especially the pad thai, was delightful. Overall, a great value for the money.
The hotel offers a lovely garden view from the rooms, perfect for relaxing after-dinner drinks in a very spacious bedroom. The bathroom is great with modern amenities; however, some staff interactions at the reception desk were a bit rude. Overall, a comfortable stay with beautiful surroundings.
The hotel is centrally located right on the town square, making it easy to access various attractions, but the small double beds in the rooms were not very comfortable. The large en-suite bathroom with a clawfoot bath was a great feature for relaxation.
The hotel has a lovely historic character, and my room with a small double bed was cozy and offered a nice view of the garden. The wrap-around balcony was a nice touch, although the bed could have been more comfortable. The service at the reception desk was a bit rude, but the housekeeping and other amenities were satisfactory. The hotel's location in the center of town on The Square made it convenient to access wineries and explore the area. The dining experience was average, with limited options, but the white rice served was a miss for me. The facilities were updated to match the historical charm of the hotel, providing a pleasant overall stay.
I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel! The location is superb, right on the town square, making it easy to explore the charming village and enjoy the nearby wineries. The rooms were luxurious and spacious, with a fantastic clawfoot bath in the huge bathroom. However, the small double bed was a bit uncomfortable. The service, especially at the reception desk, was a bit rude, but the other amenities like room service and housekeeping were good. The dining experience with locally caught fish was a highlight, and the facilities were top-notch.
The hotel is perfectly located in the heart of Martinborough, offering easy access to wineries and a bustling town center. The rooms are beautifully renovated, blending historic charm with modern comfort. However, the service at the reception desk was quite rude, detracting from the overall experience. On the upside, the hotel's dining provided fresh and delicious Mediterranean dishes.
The hotel is ideally situated in the village center, right on the square, making it convenient for exploring the town. The rooms are spacious with a large en-suite bathroom and a lovely wrap-around balcony, although the small double bed was not the most comfortable. The service at the reception desk was a bit lacking in friendliness, but amenities like room service and housekeeping were satisfactory. The location is a great hub for wine enthusiasts, being within an easy drive of many wineries. The only downside is that the hotel is right next to a late-night restaurant which may affect noise levels. The dining experience lacks variety, with only sweet cakes available, and the hotel facilities are basic.
